Fixed Roof access ladders require a safety cage when height of climb is twenty feet or more.

This safety cage starts at eight feet and covers the boarding rails for safe entry or exit.

Cages are also used for ladders going to a roof hatch when climb is over twenty feet.

When climb on access ladder is over 30 feet a safety cage is required along with a resting platform every 30 feet.

When a safety cage is not possible, then other means of fall protection are required.

Fixed access ladders are custom made so give us you building height so we can send you a firm quotation, including freight and shop drawing.
